New areas of extensions:  effects of student and parent input into decision making (Teri and I are doing some beginning work in this area in CPMS)

Structure:  Teachers always have difficulty using the progress monitoring data to make decisions -- Lynn did an extensive body of research to show how computer can be used to provide structure for teachers -- like to expand upon that and include use of internet (again, we are doing some initial work in this area in CPMS), and also draw upon teacher decisions-making research to explore how teachers use data or why it’s difficult and process that can be used to improve this procedure
